Mr. Robert “Terry” Lee, born on March 31, 1959 to Mr. James Lee, Sr. and Mrs. Eddie Mae Lee. Terry passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, at the age of 66. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Terry’s life was marked by dedication to his family and his work.
Terry was a graduate of Selma High School. After completing his education, he embarked on a career that saw him contribute his talents to several esteemed companies, including Bush Hog, Henry Brick, and Globe Metallurgical. His work ethic and commitment were admired by colleagues and friends alike until he was unable to continue due to illness.
Terry cherished the time spent with his family, where laughter and good times were always abundant. His love for his family was evident in every moment he shared with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee, Sr. and Eddie Mae Lee; siblings Margaret Lindsey, McKinley Hooks, Jr., Ronnie Earl Lee, and James Lee, Jr.; brothers-in-law Phillip Bossie, Sr. and Johnnie Lindsey; and sister-in-law Belinda Durry Lee.
Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 43 years, Mary Lee. He is also survived by his children, Eldextra (Pershonda) Bossie, Latonya (Jonathan) Roebuck, and Alisha (LaMarcus) Johnson. His surviving siblings include Della (Winston) Harrison, Eddie Dean Hooks, Lee Edward Lee, and Mack Arthur Lee. He will be dearly missed by his sisters-in-law Brenda Bossie, Shirley Day and Geraldine Lee, brother-in-law Darrell Bossie, and eight grandchildren: Eldextra, Jr., Taylor, Sidney, Brianna, Aminah, Trinity, Elias, and Jalen. Terry also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends who hold Terry close to their hearts
Robert “Terry” Lee's legacy of love and devotion to his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His warmth, humor, and kindness will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Graveside services have been scheduled for Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11AM from Serenity Memorial Gardens with Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home of Selma serving with excellence through professional service.
