Quinton Terell Bennett was born September 24, 1980, to Diane Bennett Jackson and James Thomas Galie in Lowndes County, Alabama. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Old Mount Lilly Baptist Church, Lowndes County, Alabama. He graduated from Central High School in Hayneville, Alabama, in 1999. He departed this life on Friday, March 13, 2026, at home in Selma, Alabama. 

Quinton was active in the community and loved his family dearly. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Aquaria Fenelso Rivers on September 10, 2010.  

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his devoted and loving wife of fifteen years, Aquaria Bennett, of Selma, AL; a loving and devoted mother, Diane (Nathan) Bennett Jackson, of Lowndes County, Alabama; and his father, James (Dee) Thomas Galie, of McMinnville, Tennesse, two daughters, Ayanna Rivers of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Akiylee Bennett of Selma, AL; one son, Karson Aiden Scott of Selma, AL., seven brothers, Octavous Lamont Bennett of Hayneville, Alabama, Keison (Andrea) Bennett of Montgomery, Alabama, James (Kierra) Bennett of Montogomery, Alabama, Christopher Bennett of Montgomery, Alabama, Jalon Bennett of Montgomery, Alabama, Carlos Coleman, Montgomery, Alabama, and Nathan Jackson Jr., of Montgomery, Alabama; seven sister-in-laws, Lakadria Rivers, Columbus, Georgia, Lyvonia (Roosevelt) Towns, Helena, Alabama, Atisha Price, Anesha Price, Pandora Price, Desha Price, and Shavontay Johnson, all of Selma, Alabama; eight brother-in-laws, Nelson ( Lyndsay)                Wattter Jr, Hoover, Alabama, Fontano Watters, Birmingham, Alabama, Demarlo Rivers, Selma, Alabama, Quanterrius (Amber) Rivers, Birmingham, Alabama, Antonio (Jacqese) Dixon, Selma Alabama, Anthony Dixon, Birmingham, Alabama, Rodrecious Crenshaw, Montgomery, Alabama, Jelefonte Watters, Selma, Alabama, and one granddaughter, Azarria Walker of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. 

Quinton was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Bennett of Lowndes County, Alabama. He leaves to cherish a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 12 Noon from the Mt. Moriah #2 Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Johnnie Blount, officiating where Dr. Tarrance Scott serves as pastor. Burial will follow in the churchyard of Isabella Baptist Church of Tyler, AL with Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home serving with excellence through professional service. Mr. Bennett will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral hour at the church.
