Mr. Phillip Clifton Watkins was born on December 24th, 1957, to Father Leo Watkins Sr. and Mother Rosie Watkins. Mr. Phillip Clifton Watkins confessed Christ at an early age and joined and remained a faithful member of The Holiness Temple Church Of Christ In Prayer #1 throughout his life, always living his life according to his beliefs.
Mr. Phillip Clifton Watkins departed this life on August 25th, 2025, at 7:30 am Eastern Time Zone.
Mr. Phillip Clifton Watkins was preceded in death by: His Father, Leo Watkins Sr., his Mother, Rosie Watkins, and his four (4) Brothers; John Henry Carmichael, James Williams, McArthur Williams, and Jessie Watkins, and loving Niece, Schamion Hunter.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his former wife, Toni Moore Watkins, and their children, Courtney Wood and Alexis Roberson, as well as His Son-in-Laws, Ryan Wood and LeDarrius Roberson. Grandchildren: Granddaughters; Rianna Wood and Rylee Wood, Grandsons; NolanRyan Wood, Greyston Wood, Ramsey Wood, LeDarrius Roberson II, and Leo Roberson. Brothers, Dexter Watkins and Leo Watkins Jr., and Sisters, Linda Watkins Hunter, Patricia Ervin, and Rosemary Ervin, and a host of Aunties, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2025 at 1:00PM from the Holiness Temple Church of Christ in Prayer #1 with the Bishop Reginald Wells, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in Serenity Memorial Gardens with Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home serving with excellence through professional service.
