With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Lesia Deniece McMillian, who departed this world on September 30, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on February 15, 1969 to Mr. Robert Hunter and Ms. Johnnie Mae McCary. Lesia's journey was marked by love, strength, and an unwavering dedication to her family.
Lesia was a beacon of light and inspiration to all who knew her. Her life was a testament to the power of love and resilience. She carried herself with grace and dignity, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Her legacy is deeply rooted in the lives she touched and the family she cherished above all else.
Preceded in death by her beloved mother, Johnnie Mae McCary, her father, Robert Hunter, and her brother, Alvin McMillian, Lesia now joins them in eternal peace. She leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor her memory.
Surviving her are her devoted children: Temeisha McMillian, Dexter McMillian, LaQueisha McMillian, Jerell McMillian, and NyKeria McMillian, who will forever carry forward the values and love she instilled in them. Her legacy also lives on through her 15 cherished grandchildren, each a precious extension of her spirit.
Lesia is also survived by her siblings: Robert Mcmillian and his wife Rubie of Alaska, Danny Hunter and his wife Felicia of Selma, Kendrick Mcmillian and his wife Vanessa of Selma, and Wyndolyn Brown of Selma. Their bond will remain strong, united in their shared memories and love for Lesia.
In her 56 years, Lesia touched countless lives with her kindness and generosity. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit and influence will continue to guide and inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love, wisdom, and warmth will forever be etched in our hearts.
Graveside services have been scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2025 from the Serenity Memorial Gardens with Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home serving with excellence through professional service.
