Kenetha LaShaun Holsey-Martin, affectionately known as “Pooh,” was born on December 19, 1977, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Mary Willoughby and the late Alton Holsey, Sr.

Kenetha was the epitome of grace, style, and sophistication, a true diva, trendsetter, and boss woman whose beauty radiated from the inside out. Known for her impeccable fashion sense, elegance, and confidence, she carried herself with undeniable class and presence. She was also an athlete, a scholar, and enjoyed working out and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Kenetha built an impressive career in luxury retail, holding several Regional Director leadership roles with both Gucci and Prada. She became well-known and highly respected throughout the luxury retail industry as someone who truly understood the brand, mastered sales, and knew every aspect of the business. Her expertise, leadership, and passion made her a standout in the corporate fashion world, earning her the reputation of being the “IT Girl” in luxury retail.

Above all, Kenetha deeply loved her family and friends. She cherished family gatherings and treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved most. Her warmth, strength, beautiful smile, and unforgettable presence will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Kenetha was preceded in death by her father, Alton Holsey, Sr.; sister-in-love, Tomekia Martin; and brother-in-love, Willie Barnes, Jr.

Kenetha leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving, faithful, and devoted husband of 25 years, Tavarus Martin, Sr.; two incredible sons, Tavarus Martin, Jr. and Trevor Kingston Martin; her mother, Mary Willoughby; brothers, Alton Holsey, Jr., Nicholas Cantie, and Frederick Cantie, Jr.; father and mother-in-love, Willie and Myrline Barnes; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, work family, and dear friends.
