With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of our precious baby girl, Journee Jakiya Watkins, who entered this world on May 23, 2026, and peacefully departed on May 30, 2026.

Though Journee's time on earth was brief, the joy, love, and light she brought into the lives of those who cherished her will remain forever. During her seven precious days, she touched the hearts of her family and left an everlasting imprint of love that will never fade.

Journee is lovingly survived by her devoted mother, Janila Watkins; her father, Marquell McNeil; and her grandmother, Lajesta Watkins, along with many family members and loved ones who will forever treasure her memory.

She was preceded in death by her beloved great-grandparents, LaQuand J. Moore and Jesse J. Watkins, who now welcome her into eternal peace and loving embrace.

Although we did not have nearly enough time with our sweet Journee, we find comfort in knowing that she was deeply loved from the very beginning. Her tiny hands left lasting fingerprints on our hearts, and her beautiful spirit will remain with us always.

Journee Jakiya Watkins will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

A homegoing service has been scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 1:30PM from the Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joseph Davis, officiating and Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home serving with excellence through professional service.
