Joe Freeman Moorer, affectionately known as "Junebug," was born on December 13, 1967, to the late Ethel Lee and Joe Moorer Sr. in Miami, FL. He was educated through Miami-Dade County Public Schools, attending Phillis Wheatley Elementary, Nautilus Middle, and Miami Beach Senior High School. But more than anything, Joe was taught by life-and he learned it well.
From a young age, Joe moved through the world with wisdom, humor, and a quiet strength that never went unnoticed. Joe had a big heart and gave freely, whether it was food, clothes, time, or love. He never hesitated to help anyone in need. He didn'tjust know people; he built real and lasting bonds, the kind that last forever and stand the test of time. To know Joe was to love him.
Though he is no longer here in the physical, his spirit lives on in every memory, every laugh, and every life he touched. His love does not end here-it lives through all of us.
