Evangelist Lillie F. Hall was born to Mr. Willie and the late Velma Fields on August 1, 1959. Evangelist Hall confessed Christ at an early age and joined the New Sister Springs Baptist Church and later relocated to Birmingham, AL where she joined Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of R.L. Patterson. Evangelist Hall departed this earthly life on June 30, 2025, at 9:00AM.
Evangelist Hall was a proud member of the Southside High School Class of 1977. After graduating high school, she enrolled at Wallace Community College Selma where she received her certificate in cosmetology. A few years later, she established her very own hair salon in the heart of Selma, Alabama and ran this solan successfully for 15 plus years. She did this while embracing her calling to minister the Gospel as an evangelist and minister throughout the city of Selma.
Evangelist Hall was preceded in death by her 3 sons Camilo, Natavious, and Dwyer Fields. her mother Velma Fields, her brothers Willie and Dexter Fields.
To cherish her loving memory, she leaves four granddaughters: Chinita Buster, Shequavia Buster of Selma, Ashlyn Fields of Birmingham, and Tradistine Chambers of Tennessee. Three grandsons: Devonte Shields and Keonn Holmes of Selma, AL and Taviyon Fields of Atlanta, GA. Her loving aunts: Cora Hall of Chicago, IL, Clara Johnson of Selma, AL, Emma Robinson and Mattie Gordon of Pensacola, FL. One uncle: Herbert Fields; Five sisters: Felicia Jenkins, Angela Fields, Charlene Bevel-El, Mrs. Darlene (Darnell) Penn, Mrs. Syprenia (Gerald) Poche; Two brothers:: Timothy(Ella) Fields and Willie Bennett; one special friend: Cheryl Tate and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday July 12, 2025 at 11:00AM from the Love City Selma (Formerly Helping Hand Bible Ministries) where Elder Ralph Edwards serves as pastor and Pastor Reginald Patterson, officiating. Burial will follow in the Serenity Memorial Gardens with Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home of Selma, AL serving with excellence through professional service.
