Eric Lee Wilson was born on December 1, 1970. He was the son of the late Sally and TC Wilson. As a young man Eric enjoyed attending Church, singing in gospel groups and playing the drums. He enjoyed listening to music with gospel being his favorite.

Eric graduated from Southside High School, Selma, Alabama; Class of 1989. He was a man of many values and principles; one being work. Eric was a valued employee of Topre American Company in Culliver, Alabama.

Eric was the proud father of Eric Roshard Hollman (Shaquitta) of Savannah, Georgia.

Eric Lee Wilson departed this life on Monday March 30, 2026. He leaves to cherish his memories, six grandchildren; Zachary, Zariah, Jaceon,Brycen, Kyler, and Joseph; Three uncles, Joe Lee Katts, Eddie Katts; both of Selma, Alabama, Roger Simmons of New York and a host of cousins and friends.

Though not related by blood, Ada Hollman loved Eric as her own son, and he look to her as the mother of his heart.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 1:00PM from the New Bethany Baptist Church of Sardis, AL.  Burial will follow in the Pineview Memory Gardens with Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home serving with excellence through professional service.  Mr. Wilson will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral hour at the church.
