Mrs. Clara Mae Evins-Blanks was born n Marion, AL on May 6, 1958 to the late Pauline Evins-Russell.  Clara answered eternal rest on August 27, 2025 at Vaughan Regional Medial Center.  Clara confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Christ New Testament Holiness Church.  Clara later joined Second Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Davon Simpson, where she continued to serve God and praised Jesus Christ every day until she entered eternal life.

Clara was preceded in death by her mother Pauline Evins-Russell, her son R.J. Phillip Blanks, her granddaughter, Quinnasha Henderson, her sister-in-law Mable Blanks-Moore, her son-in-law Anthony L. Ivory, Six aunts:  Marie Billingsley, Estell Cole, Patricia Rutledge, Mattie Tubbs, Lola Mae Billingsley, and Betty Jean Richardson.  Four uncles:  William Ford, Jr., Henry Ford, Jimmy Lee Ford, and Clarence Ford.

Clara is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 51 years, Raymond Blanks, Jr., her loving and dedicated Step Father, Freddie Lee Russell; three sons: Kerry O. Evins, Ray S. Blanks (Tremeatra), Raymond L. Blanks (Trina), Three Special Sons: Douglas Jones, Tommy C. Moore, and Johnny C. Blanks.  Three daughters: Saysarx Blanks-Ivory (Lloyd), Angelea Blanks, Pauline Blank;,Two special daughters: Teresa Ann Moore and LaShonda Ann Moore.  Her aunt Eva Lou Cannon, her best friend Gladys Jones.  Thirty grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 11:00AM from the Second Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Davon Simpson, officiating.  Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery, Marion, AL with Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home serving with excellence through professional service.
