With heavy hearts and a deep sense of gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Arteail Price Hill on August 12, 2025, at the age of 69. Arteail's journey began on October 28, 1955, when she was born to Mr. Arto Sherrer and Ms. Lela Mae Price in Plantersville, Alabama. Her life's path was one of faith, love, and inspiration.
Arteail confessed Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at the Plantersville Baptist Church. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, providing her with strength and comfort that she shared generously with everyone she met. Her devotion to God and her community was a testament to her unwavering spirit and kindness.
Preceded in death by her loving parents, Arto Sherrer and Lela Mae Price, Arteail leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her beloved sister, Gladys (Randolph) Johnson, her uncles Frank (Bettie) Sherrer and Johnny (Kathy) Sherrer, a special friend of many years, and a host of cousins and friends who were touched by her warmth and compassion.
Arteail's life was filled with simple joys and profound wisdom. Her gentle smile and generous heart made the world a better place for those around her. Though we mourn her passing, we celebrate the beautiful life she led, a life that continues to inspire those who knew her.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. As we remember Arteail, we are reminded of her favorite saying: "Love one another, for love is the greatest gift of all." Her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to shine brightly in the lives she touched.
